A MESSAGE TO PARENTS
KINETIC KIDS, INC.
Dear Parents,
We at Kinetic Kids know that there are few things in this world that are
potentially as devastating as finding out that your child may need help that
you are not equipped to give. The sense of helplessness that comes with
any diagnoses can be, in a word, debilitating. But you are not alone. Kinetic
Kids, Inc. is here to help. Whether you are in need of speech language
pathology or occupational therapy or any other service we offer, and
whether you retain our services or not, feel free to give us a call for advice,
or just an open, knowledgeable, and understanding ear.
If you are a parent of a child who may have special needs who has not
been evaluated by a doctor, has not been given a diagnosis, or if you are
not satisfied with the diagnosis that was given, give us a call. We may be
able to help you navigate through the complicated and often frustrating
health care field. In the end, the sooner your child gets a correct
assessment of a problem, the sooner we can begin to mitigate some of
your concerns.
If after talking to us, you believe that we may be of help, we will send our
informational packet that must be completed before we schedule an
evaluation. After the evaluation, and subsequent consultation, we will
mutually determine the services that will be needed if services are needed.
We know that a parent or guardian is integral to the success of any
treatment that may be necessary. We encourage our families to
incorporate themselves into their child’s treatment when and where
possible.
To our existing parents, we thank you for your continued support. Everyday
we try our best to make sure your family's needs are being attended to. As
always, referrals are deeply appreciated.
